Tamara Reynolds Shoots A Hole In One For SW Airlines and Ronald McDonald House

Tamara Reynolds was picked by GSDM’s Idea City and Southwest Airlines, to shoot a very special group of kids. The ad for Southwest Airline’s Annual LUV Classic, benefiting The Ronald McDonald House Charities, featured seven children who are or had been residents at The Ronald McDonald House. Idea City Art Director Joel Davis wrote, ” It was great collaborating with Tamara on this image. Not only was she on top of every detail of the shoot before we set foot on the location, but she even brought a can of silly string, which she didn’t hesitate to cover herself with. This put the kids at ease and helped us achieve the genuine happiness from the kids. The entire production was smooth and enjoyable.” Agency: GSD&M’s Idea City Client: Southwest Airlines AD: Joel Davis AP: Kelly Hopkins

William Heuberger Travels to Italy Along the Via Roma

When united*dsn needed a photographer to bring to life their vision for the “Via Roma” line of Italian products for client A&P Foods, they turned to William “Bill” Heuberger. The client wanted portraits of authentic looking Italians for their packaging, so where better to find authentic Italians? Italy of course! So, Bill and his crew set off to Tuscany. Says Andy Johnson of united*dsn,” Working with Bill was an absolute pleasure. It was as though he could read our minds. He knew exactly the shots we wanted and was prepared to go that extra mile to achieve above and beyond what we asked of him. We worked against an incredibly tight time line for the amount of shots we required. Bill was totally professional, composed, even energized by the pressure. Any other photographer would have run a mile from the demands of this project, not Bill. He embraced it and took it to another level. Bill gave us an amazing portfolio of images for our client, something that all concerned are incredibly proud of. The entire team stepped up on this project. Much respect goes out to Bill of course, Robin, Gisela, Ally, team united* and most importantly the amazing, wonderfully warm people of Lucignano, Italy. united* see bill as a personal friend now, and we are frantically searching for the next project that allows us to work together again.” Agency: united* Art Directors: Andy Johnson, Lawrence Haggerty AE: Perry Seelert Client: A&P

Lisa Adams Is Smart Choice for Beazer SmartDesign Shoot

“We had a very specific vision for how we wanted our shots to look, and found exactly what we were looking for with Lisa,” wrote Bryan Nixon, Associate Creative Director for FrederickSwanston. “Her shots look natural and believable, but also capture the aspirational aesthetic we were looking for. Lisa was always tuned in to our direction, but also there for us when we needed a little guidance with some difficult compositions. It’s also worth pointing out that not a single image required color balancing or any other kind of exposure related retouching. That was huge!” Client: Beazer Homes Agency: FrederickSwanston ACD: Bryan Nixon
